2019 Toyota Camry

About the 2019 Toyota Camry

Following a complete redesign last year, the 2019 Toyota Camry returns to build on its legacy as one of America’s best selling sedans. The Camry makes a bold statement with its aggressive styling which features a striking two-piece grille and sharply chiseled contour lines. More spacious than the previous generation, the interior of the Camry is packed with useful functionality while also sporting a more futuristic layout. Safety has remained a fundamental strength of the Camry and that tradition carries into 2019. Every model comes equipped with standard Toyota Safety Sense with four cutting-edge safety systems along with an array of available technologies including Rear Cross Traffic Braking and a Blind Spot Monitor. Advanced connectivity features allow you to stay connected to your social circle no matter how far your journeys take you with the Toyota Camry.

What the Critics Say

Nevertheless, the ride is very comfortable—as with past Camrys—and soaks up bumps easily. Its handling has been sharpened, thanks in part to responsive steering. This new Camry feels almost spry when it’s going around corners.” — Consumer Reports
Many of the exterior design elements were first seen in a 2014 restyling of the last Camry, but here they’re on a longer, lower, wider car. The result is crisp, racy, and stacks up well against the handsomest of the mid-size sedan class, the Ford Fusion—which can look just a little pudgy in comparison.” — The Car Connection

What’s New for 2019

While changes are relatively minor on the Toyota Camry for the 2019 model year, there’s one highly-anticipated feature which will make its debut. At last, the Camry comes standard with Apple CarPlay® and Amazon Alexa smartphone integration.

On XLE and XSE models, Entune 3.0 Audio Plus and Qi wireless charging are now included as standard. 4-cylinder XLE and XSE models can now be equipped with an optional Navigation Package which was previously limited to V6 models only.

2018 Toyota Camry Exterior Styling

Bold Styling

The Toyota Camry offers a look that’s edgier and more expressive than ever before. Up front, a two-piece grille with character lines flows from the nose through the front doors. The lines continue to cascade along the vehicle’s profile, reflecting light from all angles. The 2019 Camry shows off more character and makes a memorable first impression. The overall height is reduced by an inch compared to the last generation, but the vehicle is also wider and lower which contributes to a lower center of gravity which improves dynamics and performance. The cabin also receives upgrades that include more driver-centric features and more soft-touch surfaces and premium materials.

Proven Performance

Drivers will have their choice of an economical 203-horsepower 2.5-liter inline 4-cylinder or a potent 301-horsepower 3.5-liter V6, each featuring D-4S Fuel Injection paired with an advanced 8-speed Direct-Shift automatic transmission. The Camry is even able to achieve up to 41 MPG on the highway**. An independent MacPherson front strut and sophisticated multi-link rear suspension combine to produce a ride that’s both confident and refined. A 3-mode drive switch includes ECO, Normal, and Sport modes which allows you to customize your drive.
